Pastor Caleb moved to Freeport from Indianapolis where he served as an Associate Minister. While serving at First Baptist Carmel Caleb was responsible for overseeing a variety of ministries including: adult ministries, children and student ministries, local outreach ministries, as well as managing the churches’ staff. Before ministering there, Caleb was a deacon at Grace Community Church under the leadership of Pastor John MacArthur. Caleb earned a BA in Communications with a minor in Biblical studies from the Master's College. In 2005 he graduated from the Master's Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree. Caleb is a second generation preacher. Caleb's bride Andrea received her MA in Biblical Counseling from the Master's College. She is a regular speaker at the "Women Discipling Women" Conference. http://www.wdwconference.org Caleb and Andrea have been happily married since 2003 and are the proud parents of Evelyn, Jude, and Annie. In his free time Caleb enjoys fellowshipping with family and friends, watching or playing sports, reading, and eating. |

Steve Rios, Youth Pastor Steve, originally from Sterling, IL, moved to Freeport in 1990 after marrying his wife Linda, who is a native of Freeport. In 1998-1999, Steve and Linda attended Word of Life Bible Institute in NY and then transferred to Appalachian Bible College, Bradley, WV where Steve graduated in 2002 earning a BA in Bible/Theology and minor in Christian camping. Steve and Linda also served as overseas missionaries in Bosnia being involved in a humanitarian/church plant work. |
